Michele, I hate to be a naysayer, but are you switching from Telmex to Cablemas? We had Cablemas for about a year and a half and had SO many internet problems we eventually switched to Telmex. We had technicans out to our house probably 20 times in all that time, at least five new modems, etc. etc. It was absolutely maddening. No one seemed to be able to tell us why we lost our internet connection 20 or 30 times a day. Since we've had Telmex, we have had virtually no problems (except for the port 25 issue which is now fixed). We have Telmex at the hotel, too, and in almost three years had only one problem. I would NEVER go back to Cablemas for internet. Also, we have had relatively good luck with Telmex support people on the phone - by good luck I mean about 50% of them know what they are talking about, compared to 0% at Cablemas!
