We’ve decided since we live in paradise that we should
finally start each day—well almost each day—by walking down to the Caribbean Sea and jumping in the water. We know a lot of people want to know what the beach is like because they’re coming down soon. Others just want to travel to Playa in their head and heart. So to help those people out, we decided we’d do a morning beach report on the condition of the weather, the water and the sand.
This info will be accurate as of about 8:30 am. We give no guarantees for conditions the rest of the day, because we’ll be at work.

It is sunny with high scattered clouds. There is a strong wind coming in off the ocean, but the air is warm, around 80 degrees F. The water was warm, the color was green and the sea was rough. How rough? One knock down. One bikini bottom partially removed. Sand in really bad places.
The sand leading into the surf was soft and kept shifting beneath our feet like quicksand. Waves came in about chest high. This will be a great day for boogie boarding or laying on the beach with a piƱa colada in hand.
Okay, that’s it for today. Hasta luego!
