It's amazing we made it down to the beach at all this morning, given the late night breakup of the impromptu rendezroo at PGs (where some of us were seriously overserved), but we
were about an hour later than usual. Turns out that by 8:30 in the morning, the ocean is beginning to turn that beautiful blue. Guess 7:30 is just a little too early. Who knew?
Heading down the road to Mamitas you couldn't help but notice the gigantic storm cloud sitting out over Cozumel. From here we could see what looked to be rain over there on the island. It is pretty windy today here in Playa, but this time the wind is coming from the land and not the ocean, so the waves were still very calm. At least that was our thought process. (We're not meteorologists, we just play them on this board. Haha

). It's only 77 degrees out, and pretty overcast, but the water was still refreshing and wonderful. We did a quick swim/bob in the beautiful blue water and watched some pelicans flying low looking for breakfast. Then we rushed home to shower & dress so that Tony & Genaro could go this morning and meet with the beerocrats over at Superior. Keep your fingers crossed!
