So its not Playa but it is Mexico
A Girls Weekend Cruise to Ensenada
Guest List: My mom, My Aunt and myself
So I decided that us girls needed to do a getaway trip. The last time we had a trip with only the girls was 23 years ago....we were due. We decided to do a 3 night cruise to Ensenada on Royal Caribbean. Quick, Easy and inexpensive. The plan was that my mom would drive out to my place and drop off the dog so Matt and the boys could watch him. Then we would drive down to the port together and my uncle would drop my aunt off at the pier. Boarding began at 1pm so I figured we'd aim for 2pm so some of the initial crowds would clear. Had all of our paper work and check in already done. Told my mom to be out here at 11:30(shes about an hour from here) so we'd be out the door by noon. With about an hour drive to the port that would give us leeway for traffic.
DAY 1
I start the day by calling my mom. Are you packed, do you have your passport?
Shes still working on the packing part. I start trying to tie up any loose ends here before I leave. Around 10:30 am i start getting myself ready. At 11:12 I get a call from my mom she's leaving her place but has to run one errand before she heads out..... yeah she's supposed to be here in 18 mins....not going to happen. But I'm not really worried, I know my mom well enough.... I told her 11:30 to get her here by about 12:30 so we could be on the road by 1pm.

When she go t here we loaded our bags....most of them mine.
On the road by 1:06. Hey were actually on time! Call my aunt and uncle to let them know we are leaving. They have a shorter drive so they plan on leaving a half hour later. We actually all showed up at nearly the same time! So far so good! We unload all our bags and start making our way to the boat.....theres a lot of young people.....oh crap....its spring break!!!!

The Shoes
Never thought would say this but check in at the bot made the airport look like a breeze. First give them paperwork and credit cards., got our sea pass cards...next stop security. Seapass and passport. No Problems....then stand in line to take picture for sea card.....then stand in line for boarding pictures....then Seapass and passport again...Finally we made it on board!!!
First thing we saw when we walked on was a drink table. Hmmm..nah we better find our room and get settled first. We booked kinda late so our choice of stateroom was very limited. We had the very front stateroom on the 2nd floor. Very far from the elevators...but right next to the Emergency exit so in case of emergency we were perfect!

On our way to the room my mom found her luggage...in front of someone else's room.
She grabbed it and we let ourselves in....to our very tiny room. Very tiny. We didn't plan on spending a whole lot of time in there though so no worries. Mom starts unpacking and i start changing... I brought my suit n my carry on so i could head straight to the pool deck. While this is happening my aunts bag shows up.....mine is still no where to be seen. She unpacks...by now I'm chomping at the bit to get up on deck. They are all unpacked and I still have no luggage...so I went to go look for it. I searched through a ton of luggage...none of it mine. I figure it'll show up eventually and head back to the room. Lo and behold I was right there was my aunt with my bag.
