Tikin xic is a Mayan or Yucatecan preparation of fish. The fish is wrapped in a banana leaf with
achiote and orange juice (the sour oranges we have in Latin America) and baked. It's usually made with grouper (mero) or whatever fish is in season.
Pepito, I'm not sure about that. Pepitas are roasted pumpkin seeds, but I don't think that's what you're thinking of. Can you tell me where you saw it?
