That's funny, because I thought the same thing when I first read about them putting on that palapa roof, I thought about cigarettes and fire. Because I remember the story about a year ago when that happened at Hotel
Playa del Sur, a cigarette out the window lit a palapa on fire and caused damage to the restaurant next door, I believe.
