Haha! You are so right about this! (hi guys xo,,,hug,,,welcome back to Playadise, xoxo

).
In March, 6 of us went there and decided to eat at the restaurant before we got settled on the beach. It cost us well over $1,ooo pesos to eat. We didn't order anything fancy... 2 of us had a hamburger, guacamole, ceviche (we all shared) and one drink each...and that was at about 2:00 pm. Then, we decided to lounge on the beach for an hour or two. Well...it didn't take very long for someone to come and collect money for the loungers that we were using. We were charged full day rate.
I told the senor that we were only going to sit around for an hour or two and that we had just spent a small fortune at the restaurant. "Can't you please give us a break in this case, amigo? We are leaving soon" "No...lo siento." "We are not affiliated with the restaurant, amiga. This is totally separate."

With all of this being said, I still love El Paraiso Beach and we will still go out of our way to spend a day or two there. However...we will be wiser next time.

We will pack a lunch from Pollo Bronco and eat it 'off property' and then enjoy our loungers at El Paraiso, for the rest of the day.
We really miss our friend Fermine, btw...(Dj Fermix). He used to spin the most amazing music behind the bar.

I am glad that we still keep in touch through email, after all this time.

He is a gentle, loving soul. xo
