This is the plan for the second day as the last time we went to Tulum we didn't make it to the beach. Disappointing to say the least. 
Can anyone tell me how much beer is there? I hate traveling with money as I tend to lose it  (or spend). I would just like an idea of how much to take. We always bring a collapsible cooler with us. It has come in handy every year, as we just stop and fill it up at one of the stores. But I didn't want to drag it all the way to Tulum. |
You pretty much got it. Just don't try to eat your chicken there...the security guard will be all over you. It's stupid since you pay for the chairs.
Pack a bed sheet with you and you can move just north to enjoy your food. Get there early, trees for shade are few. Just leave your towels on your chairs.
As for money... I always wear one of those waterproof cigarette containers around my neck. I keep my ID and money in it. It has an adjustable strap so you can tighten it around your neck while swimming.
