Maintenance worker at a Community College. They got a grant to install storm windows and insulate their 100+ year old Administration Building. So, for minimum wage, I got to work on a scaffold 5 stories high and install storm windows that were as tall and wide as a compact car. Then, after we finished that job, I had to crawl around on my back under the building in almost total darkness and install fiberglass insulation. The damp, musty smell under that building was horrible, And the little pieces of fiberglass from the insulation that I was hanging falling down in my face was worse. And when fiberglass gets in your skin's pores you can't wipe it off. If you rub it, it irritates the skin and turns red. I would have to stand face-first under the shower for an eternity to get all that fiberglass out of my pores. I'll never forget that job!
