Thinking back who-knows-how-many-years.... I can't imagine what it would have been like going off to kindergarden my first day on a bus.  I'm pretty sure I was one of those clingy kids who wouldn't leave my mom's leg. Quite sure there was lots of crying as well... Anyhow, kudos to your daughter for heading off like a champ.  |
Thanks John. I think part of her confidence comes from watching all the neighborhood kids riding the bus over the last couple of years and anxiously waiting for it to be her turn...and also my Dad is retired but drives a school bus part time...so she has been on buses with him before.
BTW...for the record....I was one of those clingy kids too....
