John's cousin and her husband are in New Orleans right now! She was supposed to celebrate her birthday there on Saturday, then on Sunday they were going on a cruise that would stop in Progreso on the Mexico Gulf coast and then Cozumel. We were going to meet up with them in Progreso and then do a couple days of Yucatan sightseeing.
They're actually supposed to sail from Alabama because of the oil spill near New Orleans. Carnival says the cruise is still on, but I think it's going to get cancelled.
Most importantly, I hope they're safe wherever they end up. I just called them and got no answer.
Poor New Orleans!!
