It's me that is gushing about San Miguel de Allende
I just got back on Saturday after spending 2 weeks there and I am in love. To me it's what Mexico should be and it also has a European feel to it at the same time. It was really fun to be there for Independence day, the fire works around the church were spectacular.
Everything is so cheap it's the motherload if you are a shopper like myself
Friends who joined us used Magni airline which has flights to Leon once a week for $4000 pesos return.
We stayed in a beautiful house for $1400 US. I will try to post some pics.
