Debbie - I'm so sorry your ribeye question was never answered! I think it just got lost in this thread. Did your friend come with you on your recent trip? Did she try another ribeye? I think it's just a matter of picking the right restaurant that uses good quality beef. I don't think you could go wrong with
Chicago Don Jose although it is pricey. We've had really great ribeyes at
El Emporio, an Uruguayan steakhouse on the far north end for very reasonable prices.
