I dont think it is too far away from the centre. You are at the end of the centre, I would say. 5 minute walk and you`ll be right on 5th at the north end.
If you want to walk all the way to the other end of
Playa it might take you a while but it is a nice walk.
A lot of things to see. And you are located close to a great beach.
Personally I find it a nice part of town.
