Certainly, you CAN save money cooking at home. Judging from the local restaurants and carts, the average Mexican working guy/gal is getting an awful lot of their meals out of the home. You CAN, especially as a couple, eat out VERY cheaply. The way I cook for my family at home generally costs WAY more than if I just brought them to Dona Mary's every night.
Why don't I just do that? Hmmm.
