Default Kudos to the Palace Resorts

Just wanted to share a quick story that developed this morning...

Earlier today, we went to the Cámara Hiperbática clinic to see a doctor. While waiting, we saw a woman there, waiting for her husband to be released. He spent the night after a 6 hour treatment in their hyperbaric chamber. Shortly before he was released, 2 representatives from their resort, one of the Palace Resorts, stopped in to speak with the woman. They mentioned that the dive operator - a shop in Akumal - had contacted them to let them know that one of their guests was sent for evaluation after a dive yesterday. The representatives stopped in to make sure that everything was alright and also to see if they could arrange transportation back to the resort when the patient was released. Such a small thing to do, but I give them a gold star for incredible customer service - way to go Palace Resorts!

Wish I had the name of the dive shop as well - they deserve congrats as well. Way to go, whoever you are.

For what it's worth, the patient was being released when we were leaving. He was a bit groggy, but it sounded like he was going to be just fine.

Way to go Palace Resorts. It's very scary being in a foreign country, not knowing a soul and need medical help.
I've stayed at the Palace Resorts several times in Cancun in the 1990's and once became very sick that they called a doctor to my room.

What a nice post from you John.

I know there are many people who don't like all-inclusive resorts so it is so nice to hear something good concerning them.

We have stayed at Palace resorts 7 times now for a total of 14 weeks and no we don't own a timeshare. It is a wonderful place to stay to be completely pampered. They really do treat everyone like a King and/or Queen. Their customer relations (and the owners) should be given a big hurrah for every thing that they do.

When they say "it is my pleasure" you know they do mean it.

Nora

Thanks for sharing that.

We stayed at a Palace resort in January and it was a great experience.

One thing that John forgot to mention was that the Palace Resorts guys also took the wife to a pharmacy to buy her husband's medications while they awaited his release. When they got back, the woman remarked at how good of a driver the driver was. I was impressed with how professional and courteous the Palace Resorts reps were. They handled it very well.

That's way cool!! I've stayed at a Palace Resort before and thought them to be awesome at customer service. This goes way above and beyond in my book. I think this should be adopted my all hotel chains.

Default Palace Resorts Foundation

The Palace Resorts also have a great foundation where they have an office devoted to assist people in need of expensive surgeries to pay for the cost of the prothesis and that stuff, among other amazing things they do
I really like this group, their staff is super corteous and they help all NGO´s all the time whenever their assistance is asked for.
muy bien Palace Resorts!!!!!

Great to hear positive things about Palace Resorts. We are staying at the Playacar Palace next week for the 5th time. We were guests in one of their shelter's (the ASP) during Hurricane Wilma. The way that we were treated by them before, during and after the hurricane is why we keep staying with them.

Default Staying at Palace

I am leaving in 27 days to spend 2 weeks at Aventura Spa Palace. I stayed there during Hurricane Dean and let me tell you, they were great! I loved it there even though I had to go through a hurricane, I couldnt have picked a better place to have to be during such a stressful time!
