Summer Sale to Benefit Peanut Pet Shelter

Alicia and Melissa Meno will be selling their Tote le Monde bags, clothing, baked goods and more at the Royal Oasis on Saturday. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Peanut Pet Shelter.

Nope, I don't think so. But if you can't make the sale, you can contact them at totelemondemx @ gmail . com.

Here's the official Tote Le Monde website so you can see their products. Alicia & Melissa's prices are much cheaper because they get the bags directly from Bolivia where they're made, cutting out the middle men.

Ya know, I'll talk to the girls and Andy about putting together an online sale. We'd need to get a mule to bring the goods into the U.S./Canada, and then mail them out, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Good idea!

I got some more details about this sale. There will be a number of people selling goods there, not just Alicia & Melissa. My friend Claudette will be selling some furniture & decor items she brought from Canada and then couldn't use here, including some Pier 1 barstools. She has excellent taste, so I can't wait to see what she's selling!

Also, more info on the location. Royal Oasis is the development above Pinche Gringo's. To access it, walk east (towards the beach) on Calle 38. Just past Pinche Gringo's on the left side, you will see glass doors. The sale is in the courtyard through those doors. It is open air, so if Gustav decides to brush by, it could be called off. Let's hope for good weather!

There is going to be lots of different people selling. Some is new and some is used.

I have some clothing, designer purses and some home decor items. I also have a bit of silver jewelery to sell. It's left over from my store that I was keeping for myself and have never worn yet I will be giving a % of my sales to the Peanut Pet shelter.

Ok........ so we got a little wet I packed up and left early as the rain is just killer on leather handbags. Didn't sell much of anything but I think we should do it again when there isn't a hurricane passing through The bags from Bolivia are waterproof and beautiful. I bought one but I want more.

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I chickened out. Didn't want to get wet. I really hope it gets rescheduled!!
