Default Unsubscribing to a thread

How do you unsubscribe to a thread? I clicked on unsubscribing to a thread but I still can't figure it out?

There are a few different ways you can do it.

To unsubscribe from a single thread:
1) View the thread you are subscribed to.
2) Click on the menu item "Thread Tools" listed above the first message.
3) Select the option "Unsubscribe from this Thread"

To unsubscribe from multiple threads at once:
1) Click on "User CP" in the menu bar.
2) On the left side, click on "List Subscriptions"
or click here.
3) Check off all the threads you no longer wish to subscribe to.
4) Down by "Selected Threads:" there is a drop down menu. Select the option "Delete Subscription" and click the "Go" button.

If you would like to change your subscription options for the future:
1) Click on "User CP" in the menu bar.
2) Click on "Edit Options" under "Settings and Options"
3) Find the section "Default Thread Subscription Mode" - find an option that better suits your needs in the drop down menu.
4) Scroll to the bottom and click the "Save Changes" button.

If you check for new posts reguarly, it may be best to choose the options "Do not subscribe" or "No email notification"

I hope that helps. If not, please let me know.

Thanks John. I had figured out how to unsubscribe but every time I joined a new thread it was subscribing to it.
