I haven't been here too much lately and I noticed there is this "thanks" thing in the corner of our posts.

Whats up wif dat??

Thank you Mercy for giving me the opportunity to explain the new Thanks feature.

We introduced it about a week ago, but never announced it.

If you find a post useful, you can thank the person by clicking on the Thanks button. Sure, you could just post a reply saying thanks. But some people are shy to post or simply are not accustomed to making such replies (as many other forums do not allow those types of posts).

Our members are nice people who make useful contributions to the forum, and we thought this was a neat way to show appreciation.

tried it,
worked fast and just fine;

hope i don't get addicted to the 'thanks' function.

this must be the fastest 'thanks' in showbiz.
