Default Mexico City to Offer Health Insurance for Tourists

In the aftermath of the H1NI flu scare, Mexico City is taking an innovative approach to luring tourists back. Beginning July 1st, 2009, tourists staying in Mexico City will be covered by complementary medical insurance. Coverage will start upon hotel check-in. Other incentives are on the way, such as coupon books and special discounts.
