Default Hello from Virginia...
Hello All! I decided I wanted to ignore all of the tax returns on my desk and take a mental break for a few to introduce myself. My hubby and I are early 30 something's who both work in Accounting/IT industries. We love football and vacationing in the Roo (always the light at the end of the Tax Season tunnel). We are getting ready to head back for trip # 11 in less than 7 weeks. It can't come soon enough and this time we are dragging some newbies down with us.

Thanks for all the great info on the forum...please put up more TR's soon so that I can survive the last 5 days of tax season.

No kidding!! The weather has been great the last couple of days...of course it is raining again this morning. I was able to get home in time on Thursday to enjoy a Cuba Libre on the deck in the sunshine...it was so nice...a big change from the dungeon I have been in for the last 3 months.

I know it. I have lived in Hampton Roads (VB) and Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington). My sister went to Sweet Briar, so I have been through Lynchburg. Anyway, welcome.

Hooray for the sunshine! I am so ready for the spring weather to finally get here and stay for a while!

You're in a beautiful part of the state...last year the hubby & I went to the spring NASCAR race in Martinsville and thoroughly enjoyed our drive -- we took our time going home and drove around Smith Mountain Lake, stopped in Lynchburg for lunch and then back to VB via 460...on the way we had stopped in Farmville to visit a cousin who is at Longwood. Anyway...I can't wait to get back out to the western part of the state...it's just gorgeous.
