Tappy ~ Don't know yet if we'll be able to make it over to Eunice or to New Orleans in the upcoming months, as we have so many other trips in the works. We last went to New Orleans between Christmas and New Years and had a great time, as usual. Because we own a timeshare there, going to New Orleans always feels sort of like going "home."

Sorry that our Playa trip doesn't coincide better with yours. Would love to meet you! We're staying at Hotel Eclipse (Avenida 1 & Calle 12), so if you get in early enough Sunday, give us a shout. Our plane doesn't leave until about 3:30pm on Monday, so we have a few hours that morning before we have to head off to the airport.

Hi, Cuff ~ Nice to see you again too. Mike and I are planning a trip up your way the first week in February 2009. Both of us have always wanted to check out The Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, The Badlands, and Devil's Tower ~ along with Deadwood, too, since getting engrossed in that series. There sure is lots to see in the area! After our winter Southwest trip this year and Tahoe/Reno in February the year before, we've decided that some snow and cold can be a good thing! Traveling off-season is great too ~ NO crowds and hotel prices tend to be MUCH lower.

We'll be flying into Rapid City and staying in Deadwood and Custer or possibly Hot Springs. Would love to meet up with you while we're there ~ if you're not in Playa at the time.
