Default Finally figured out where everyone went

Hi everyone. You may know be as jobob or bobfrombc on other boards. I knew many of you, as had I but maybe for different reason, had left that "other" board but didn't know where. I just heard about the forum here today. Have used the interactive map many times in the past. And interestingly that "other" board wouldn't let me put the link to the map here today.
I generally only get involved in discussions on the Riu resorts or my experiences in Playa del Carmen.

ami, we're in the East Kootenays surrounded by the Rocky Mountains to the east and Purcells to the west and at the headwaters of the mighty Columbia River. Also only 1 1/2 drive from Banff, Alberta. Everyone's heard of Banff but most people in our own province haven't heard of the town we live in. Permanent population is about 3,600 but the area swells to close to 50,000 during the summer. It's a nightmare for demographic analysts.

Hola Jobob! It is so nice to have you here.
I love Western Canada...God's country. I used to know Banff like the palm of my hand. I'm sure it has changed alot over the years.

Make yourself at home.
And, thanks for stopping in.

Hi Jobob!
I'm guessing we are practically neighbors...

Canal Flats? Golden? Revelstoke?

Canal Flats, I bet.

Welcome from another BC'er!

mmm... I thinking Canal Flats is close.. I had Cranbrook in my mind...but it's gotta be way bigger than 3600 people.. I would say Grasmere.. but that's not 3600 people, that's barely 36! Fernie maybe, it's at the headwaters..

I wonder if Jobob minds that we are speculating where he lives!! hahaha. My guess though he has been through my town if he comes to the US very often. I'm actually from a small border town in Montana.. (which sometimes feels like Southern BC!! haha!)
