Hey UGA...nice to see you here.(((hugs))))
I read the book 90 Minutes in Heaven on the plane coming home. I am sure I looked funny crying my eyes out on the plane...but it was a very uplifting book no matter what you believe. or maybe I am just super emotional because my Dad is dying of cancer. But it was a good book for me at this point in my life !!! Anyway it made me think of you !!! |

Hi, I agree it's nice to see you here!
Are you still riding? I can't remember what kind of bike you have. I didn't pass my motorcyle course this summer - anxiety scrambled my brain and I couldn't for the life of me focus on feet and hands doing different things all at the same time. ![]() ![]() ![]() I guess I'll just help my husband keep the back tire on the ground this summer.

Good morning Tappy. Wow, your post really humbled me this morning. I am so sorry to hear what you and your family are going through. I know how you feel cause I've been there. My mom passed from cancer 18 years ago and I lost my dad to a massive stroke last year. I jokingly tell people that I'm an orphan at 36. :-) But seriously, I haven't heard of the book that you are reading but I'll look it up today. If there is anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to PM me. You're a sweet person and I'm very sorry that you are going through this. |

No doubt it has changed. My first trip was back in 1989 on a senior cruise out of high school. Our ship actually docked right in PDC. I remember livestock (pigs and chickens) on the beaches and the roads were all dirt roads. There's was absolutely nothing there really. The biggest thing I remember was a vending machine that had BEER in it. LOL!! Yeah, I was 17 at the time and that left a lasting impression. But who am I kidding, a vending machine with beer in it would still be cool now that I'm 36. :-)
