Oh....gotcha. Is the DOT class mandatory in Delaware? Here in GA you can actually take the WRITTEN motorcycle test at the DOT and as long as you retake it every 6 months, you never have to take the road test. Once you pass the road test then you're set for good. There is no mandatory safety course here but I took one anyway. It was pretty good as they started you off from scratch. They even made some people who had never riden a motorcycle before - actually ride a bicycle to see if they had the proper balance. Do you already have a motorcycle?

I don't have a bike. My husband does. Because DOT provides a bike for the class, I decided to just see how the class went before buying a bike. Good thing, because otherwise I'd be trying to sell you a little girly bike for cheap.


Edit: No the class isn't mandatory. My husband was taught in private by a friend and he passed the DMV test and got his endorsement. Hope you post some pics from your beach ride.

Stew I get the urge to put on that costume every time I open my closet! It's been 7 years since that halloween party. I probably need to buy a new pair of womens tights before the next costume party..... :-)
