However I feel a bit like I stumbled upon a party where there are a lot of people I know, but to which I evidently was not invited, you know.

I mean, not that I expected an invitation to this forum to be mailed to me individually or anything like that. Just saying the feeling of wandering in here and finding you all posting away seems like that feeling would be. One is not very certain of what one should do or say in such a situation.
