Great to see so many familiar folk here -- hello everybody!

We -- myself, my man (Paul) and my son (Renato) -- visit Playa at least once a year and have really enjoyed getting to know the town better with each visit.

We'll be down again in March -- with two more teenage boys in tow to keep mine company. Maybe some of you will be around with your teenagers, too?

When will you be down in March? There are some cool things planned for the beginning of March...Catamaya trip...Happy Hour at Bad Boyz...there will be lots of people in town! But sorry no teenagers with us!

Hello southbound, I am new to this forum, and find it to be a very refreshing change. We visit playa a couple of times a year. We will be back in March, with a teenage boy and two teenage girls, one of which is not ours.

And so I post less frequently on those types of threads these days, because there's no point in beating dead horses. But I do still like to lurk in those discussions and I always enjoy reading your arguments and opinions.

Hola Mellissa! Great to see you post here. Hope life in NYC is treating you well. When the weather warms up a little we plan to drive up for a day and hang out, not doing the tourist things that have occupied our visits with family members. It's been so long, I need a map.

Have a fantasic time in Playa! So great that you have a home away from home. The contrast must feel spectacular, both to and from.

Hola, Kathy! Nice to see you, too! Cool to know that people come up to visit and don't succumb to the usual tourist things. Paul's sister and her boyfriend are coming from Ireland in a few weeks and I will be taking them around some of the little shops on the LES (Lower East Side) as they have Euros to spend! Girls can shop (well, Paul's sister can shop. I can give opinions about how things look and I can carry the shopping bags) and boys can drink and people-watch.

T&C: hello to you two, too! Nice to catch up with you here, since I don't see you there anymore. Thank you also for funneling funds to all the various Playa-based causes. I appreciate having the easy conduit.

Smaugh -- don't get your hopes up. My "babe" days are behind me. These days I would characterize myself as an "attractive woman of a certain age."
