LaS Quintas Dog and Kid Park

Hi. There is a very sad green space in the nieghborhood of Las Quintas. Located off 24th b/n 10 & 15 (correct me if I'm wrong) it's also a lovely neighborhood too. Many dogs go play at the park as it is one of the few areas in the city with green space for dogs to play.



I met a lovely group of women who are working on revitalizing the park. Their vision is a kids playground, area for dogs, benches, more trashcans, better grass and more including a place for people to garden etc...


Right now they have the support of the Municipality and a promise of some funds IF they show there is enough support from the Playa community.

They need names/addresses and signatures for a petition. And eventually will need addtional funding.
