Air Conditioner Repair

In our continuing electricity/air conditioner saga, we have just had an a/c repair company out. This is the second time this particular company has been here. We've found them to be punctual, professional and knowledgeable. I can't comment on their rates since thus far, our landlord has been paying them.

The bad news is that the ancient compressor is kaput, and the chances of our slumlord (I mean landlord) replacing it are pretty slim. Anyway, here's the info for the a/c company. They also sell a/c units and do installation.

For the record, they did an excellent job the last time they came out. Unfortunately, they recommended that an electrician split the two A/C units onto separate breakers/circuits to prevent overheating and damage. That work was not done correctly, likely causing the latest malfunctions with the A/C units.

Also for the record , this electric work was not done by the electrician discussed on this other thread. It was done by our landlord's electrician, and she apparently paid him a lot of money for it. She's gonna be pissed.
