Default Bringing Pets to Mexico

I've heard or read somewhere that you can only bring two pets into Mexico...can someone confirm that? I cannot find where I saw that information before.

We came with four pets (three cats and a dog)and had no problems. In advance of our trip we got all of them the expensive vaccination certifications only to find not one person ever asked to see it. The only problem we had related to pets was finding hotels which accepted them. A couple of times we had to give a little 'gift" to the front desk man, and once the only place we could find which would take us and our pets was a Whore House outside of Villa Hermosa. All in all however it was not a problem either at the border or at the various state line checkpoint/inspections.

Hence; the phrase "Cat House" (sorry Kami, it was just too obvious) Here's wishing you guys a safe and fun filled trip, pets and all!

Oh yea...I forgot you guys brought your pets with you (I'm having a moment of sheer forgetfulness lately!)
