Default Have You Seen Foster the Dog?

Please keep an eye out for Foster, who has been missing for 7 weeks! His family, Sara & Steve of PlayaMayaNews, really miss him!

Foster is a neutered male Australian Shepard who is 13 years old. He is a Blue Merle and has one blue eye and one brown eye. He does not have the signature floppy ears, but rather "prick ears" that make him look like a crazy hyena or something! His right ear has a bite out of it thanks to his little brother Brighton He has been missing from El Ejido for nearly 7 weeks, and was spotted a couple of days ago at Mega in downtown Playa del Carmen.
If you have seen him or have any further information please call Sara at: 984-120-7909

Some more info from Foster's worried mom:

"Our dear dog friend Foster is still missing after nearly 7 weeks, and we are putting forth a final push to see if we may be able to get him back home. Foster is a unique dog and we think he has always wanted to be a gypsy as he has a long history of leaving. When we lived in Seattle he would leave our very secure yard by literally breaking down the fence and we would always find him at the same neighbor’s house acting like he lived there. Here in Playa he has stayed with a Mexican family down the street from our first house, hung out with a homeless man at Chedraui, lived with a Re-Max agent in Playacar, and those are just a few of his adventures that we know about. But this time has been his longest trip away, and we have put up posters all around town, at the vets, the pound etc. but had not heard anything until last Saturday. A guy named Omar called us and told us he had seen Foster at Mega in central Playa (we used to live right near there for many years), but had called the tag on his collar rather than on the poster. Well, apparently Foster has been re-named, re-homed, and has a new owner who then promptly came to pick him up. I am not sure why Omar then called the number on the poster, but he described the guy who came to pick up Foster as a dark, bald guy in a black SUV. Hmmm, this could be just about anyone here in Playa del Carmen! Long story short is that we do think Omar did see Foster as he said it looked exactly like the dog on the poster, and for those of you who don’t know Foster he has a VERY distinct, if not crazy, look. So, we are asking people to keep their eyes open for our crazy gypsy dog with Houdini like skills, and if we could bring him home we would be over the moon."
