Anyone know where a car wash is in Playa? We have 1/2 of dirt on the car from the drive down

They aren't as abundant as they used to be, but you can still find various ones throughout downtown. All the ones we've used in the past have moved on - we wash our car at our house now.

There is one across from Walmart on calle 8. That's probably one of the closest to you.

There is also an automated place at the Centro Maya mall, on 307 about 1 mile south of Juarez, on the West side.

There is a guy that comes on a moto into our neighborhood and charged $70 pesos for the minivan and $50pesos for the Honda CRV. He brings everything...even a vacuum to do the carpeting.

We asked him about waxing and he said he is normally not asked to do that but he will for a bit extra. We are going to get the wax we want and then he will apply it next time he comes.

He did a fantastic job!!! I will get his name and see if he has a number the next time he comes through.

my neighbor owns a carwash and I know there is one at Centro Maya (where City Club and Soriana are - south end of town off the carretera).

I went to the car wash yesterday at calle 8 across the street from Walmart. They did an outstanding job! I kid you not, it looked like the truck had an inch of dirt plastered to it and they managed to get it sparkling clean! $25.
