Default It's cold!

In fact it's freakin' cold! It's 64 degrees this morning and it was even colder last night. And with the wind chill factor (wind chill factor? in Playa!?) its only about 58.

It's weird. Back in San Francisco folks would consider this a balmy day. Secretaries would line the business plaza to get some sort of tan and people would put the tops down on their convertables. But here it's a different story.

Last night we went to La Pesca for some hot shrimp casserole. Cheri actually wore a jacket. And before we went to bed, we dug out a comforter that hasn't seen the light of day in two and a half years!

If you are from out of town and planning on being here soon, don't worry. These cold spells never last. But we had to comment on this one 'cause it's really freaking cold! (Wait a sec'. Did we just see a snowflake?)

Yep.....I dug out my wooly long robe this morning. Biz laughed at me for bringing it, but now I'm glad...it feels so good.

Oh, I think that was a snowflake! hehehe

BRRRRRRR!!!

Twas -4F here last night. I was worrying about the outside pipes freezing as I never winterized last fall.... and I had to get out the extra down comforter. It was VERY hard to get out of bed this morning!!

It's 29F here...with the wind chill it is 17F. Brrrr. Had flurries yesterday. As long as we make it through today we'll be OK...it's supposed to be back in the 50s and 60s soon.

Oh ...I know!! I'm hearing low 50's in Wisconsin on Sunday. That is highly unusual!!!

I bet! It's gonna be a heat wave!

The weather here is so inconsistent...which is probably why I'm forever taking some sort of decongestant. Up, down, up, down...my sinuses are screaming. Someone is always sick around here because you're bundled up one day and in short sleeves the next. Go figure.

Cold and windy here.....lots of snow. But they're predicting rain by monday....that would suck because the rain ends up freezing and then we've got one hell of a mess.

I know I shouldn't be complaining about this "cold snap" but, honestly, having to put on jeans, sweater and wool socks in the mexican riviera is simply nuts!! There isn't anyplace I would rather be at this moment though
Had dinner on the beach in Akumal last night ~ took a blanket ~ soo glad I did!
