I've seen the "brochure" pics (that's where we are staying in July) but it would be nice to see some 'real' ones, and of the surrounding buildings, just to get a sense of it, you know? I'm so excited, can't wait to get there.

 The Roman Catholic Church on 10th Ave. across from Playa Kaan  The entrance off of calle 12.  Pretty water feature in the entryway.  Intimate reception area near the on duty guard.  View from the entrance out to the pool area.  Pretty Playa Kaan Pool Pictures    Entrance to one of the garden level condos.  View from 15th Ave. looking south. I am standing in front of the church.

I a friend that is renting one of the units in Playa Kaan for the next couple of weeks. She loves it there and I believe this is her second time staying there. Very beautiful by the looks of her pictures.

Had a 20 minute break between clients today, so I thought I'd get some photos of Playa Kaan for Ginger. Looks like Michele beat me to it. Oh well, I still got some other photos that I can share.

 El Rincon de Cuca:  Hotel Alux (map):  Playa Kaan from Calle 14:  New SMART cars advertising Oxxo's coffee, Andatti:  Lobby of Hotel Aqua Luna (map):  Restaurant La Ceiba (map):  Hotel Tukan? - duh, I forgot - Calle 14 bis between Av 10 and Av 5:  Blanco Paraiso (condos?):  One of the cool oddities of Playa... streets built around existing trees. It probably helps people drive a little more cautiously. Ha ha, don't believe that for a second. Av 15 and Calle 20:  That concludes our tour for today. Please remember to tip your guide.
