Default Vanessa, Jacko and StewartG's Fat Tuesday meet up in Playa! (February 5, 2008)
Okay, well, due to an ENORMOUS lack of foresight on my part, we are missing Carnival by a WEEK in Playa. (Who would ever think of moving Carnival for elections?!?!?)

Anyway... ANY excuse is a good excuse to get together with friends, so... We are STILL having a great big get together and shindig, and y'all are invited! Heck, after all, its STILL FAT TUESDAY!

Vanessa, Jacko and StewartG are co-sponsoring a meet up in Playa and we would love to have you come!



THE MAIN EVENT: Tuesday, February 5th, 8:00 p.m. at El Pirata on the beach!


The Warm Up: Dinner at La Pesca at 6:30 p.m.


Dessert: Perhaps some dancing and/or clubhopping?




If you can attend, let me know. We would love to have you! FWIW, this announcement will be showing up on other "Playacentric" boards as well! I'll try to maintain a signup list of the intheroo.com members who are attending below:

For us there is no "there," there is only "here."

Some people visit both sites. We have no problem with that. But some of us don't, for various reasons.

Personally we will not attend any function sponsored by or associated with the other website. It's not because of the people who post there, many of whom we love and count as friends. It's because we don't want to be associated with the name of that website or the people who own it. Since we were banned from that site, we assume the feeling is mutual.

So if you're going to post meeting announcements in both places, please keep the RSVP lists current in both places and make clear to members on both forums that this is a jointly announced event. Thanks.
