Jimmy Buffett Live at the Luna Blue Bar!
PlayadelSoul is not the only Parrothead in PDC
 . We also love Jimmy Buffett and his music. While we were in New Orleans at Jimmy's Jazz Fest appearance, Tony came up with what we thought was a pretty good idea. Since every Buffett concert is broadcast live on Radio Margaritaville, and since we put satellite radio in the bar and play Radio Margaritaville most nights, we thought it would be fun to have a little Parrothead party every time one of Jimmy's concerts was broadcast. So for the rest of the summer during the broadcast of Jimmy's live concerts, we are going to have the Luna Blue Jimmy Buffett Concert Hour. During the concert, the legendary Jose will be pouring 2 for 1 margaritas at the Luna Blue Bar. If you're going to be in town, or you're already here, stop by the Blue for some "live" music, some cheap but good boat drinks and a fun time. And if the mood strikes you, feel free to wear your favorite Parrothead outfit: your loudest Hawaiian shirt, grass skirt, fins hat, shark costume or tiniest bikini. I was really getting into Radio Margaritaville the last time I was at the Tiki Bar. I can only imagine broadcasting the live concerts will enhance the experience. Plus, I now have a reason to wear my loud Hawaiian shirts in public.

To be honest, I mean...I have NO idea of Jimmy's schedule or what he does on "down time", but I thought maybe, j-u-u-u-s-t maybe T&C's recent trip to see JB as one of the acts in NOLA's Jazz Fest had created a Caribbean ripple effect of sorts.
...or maybe an impromptu conversation at a refreshment/concession stand turned into an "I'm vacationing with Jimmy and we're in the Riviera Maya coast next week. Maybe we'll stop by and say 'hey'..." You know, rare events do come about in strange ways... Or I thought maybe there was a new autographed photo of JB from the NOLA trip hanging there now... But 2-For-1 (BOGO) is always good. Unless you can't make it down until JB has put the concert season to bed...

For the record, I do not hate Jimmy Buffet. I am sure he is a pleasant enough fellow.
I do have a phobia related to his music, however.
