Grady is coming to town!

I am pleased to announce that Michael Grady is coming to Playa on July 1st for a two week visit! For those of you who don't know Grady......he was a long time resident of Playa and a great singer/songwriter as well. Grady performed all over Playa and I personally had the pleasure of first meeting him and playing music with him at Bad Boys and Keith's on 10th. This is the first time Grady has returned to Playa since he left about a year and a half ago due to severe health issues. He returns to us in great health and high spirits! He has asked the Nasty Bastards to polish up on his latest CD entitled "Nona Mae" and we plan on 3 or 4 performances at Bad Boys between July 3rd and July 12th on Thursday and Saturday nights. I personally am REALLY looking forward to this! All that know Grady have several stories to tell about this character and we love his talents and spirit! More updates to follow. JJ

Super. The day we leave for the states. At least I'll get to see him in NY later this summer. Would have been really nice to see him back on his home turf.

I'm so glad to hear that Grady is OK. Hasn't been much news of him over the last while.

Playa was not the same without him. We miss stopping in at Capt. Dave's on 10th while he was entertaining.......what fun that was!

Wish I was going to be there in July to see him again.

Mr. Grady himself stopped by the house yesterday. He is in fine shape and looking forward to doing a lot of singing and spending time with friends. It's great to have him back and healthy!!!
