Default Bad Boys Bar - Live Music Every Thursday and Saturday

Can I plug my favorite bar? Despite the cold weather, Bad Boys was packed last Thursday night. If you like old rock & roll and a fun atmosphere, you'll probably enjoy Bad Boys on the beach between 2nd and 4th. Every Thursday and Saturday evenings, JJ and the Nasty Bastards play from 4:00 - 8:00 pm (which is about closing time). There is a small dance floor so you can shake your booty if you are so inclined. The band often includes other local musicians and visiting musicians so things can get interesting sometimes. We think it's a great place to meet up with friends for a beer or two (or three? ). If you're walking down the beach, just look for the flag with the skull and crossbones.

Thank you Sharon! We are expecting a good crowd tonight at Bad Boys (Sat. 1-5-08) The weather has finally come around and supposedly there is some type of get together that is scheduled by a group of tourists. You never know what will happen at Bad Boys. I've seen a lot! Better tell Mike to bring his video camera just in case someone does something worth sharing!

Bad Boys:
Always like to stop by when we are wandering down the beach in the afternoon.
We got to listen to some pretty good tunes while the storms rolled by in August.

Like to support a place that has (good) live music.

Hmmmm...I just so happen to have a video of Sharky singing with the Nasty Bastards at Bad Boys. This was recorded in June 2007.

I think he came up and sang "house of the rising sun" when I was on stage with the Nasty Bastards last trip. I remember it was an interesting version.

I wouldn't call it singing......

I got a birthday seranade from Sharkey my first night in Playa last September. I think my friend has a picture. All I remember is being held by the back of the head with his mouth on my ear....I dipped back and I see my husband looking at me like, "WTF??" I don't know what he was saying/singing...but I did hear "happy birthday" more than once.

Yes, interesting version for sure! If I could just get him to start singing at the beginning of the verse, followed by singing the chorus during the chorus, and not during the verse, then we could eliminate some of the confusion. But, what the the hell. This is just a small part of what makes Bad Boys so much fun! Bring it on Sharkey!
