Default Ah Cacao has a second location!

While sitting in Antica having pasta tonight, we glanced down the street to Fifth Avenue's intersection with Calle 30 & saw that Ah Cacao has opened up a new cafe!

Of course we went over and checked it out. We discovered they had only been open three days. The new place has all the goodies that the original Ah Cacao (Constituyentes & Fifth Avenue) has, including the world-famous brownies. And the new cafe has the added benefit of having an air conditioned interior sitting area.

They are open from 7:30 am until midnight 7 days a week, so you can satisfy that chocoholic craving just about any time. We've posted some pictures of the new place on our blog at More Chocolate in Playa!! Luna Blue’s PlayaZone.

The north end of Playa just keeps getting better and better!!

Wow, that is soooo three days ago. I added their new location to In The Roo the other day, before they even opened.

H-m-m-m-m...one of those "good news/bad news" things. The new location is WAY too close to our usual digs. The walk to and from getting a brownie in the past has always been a good thing, this is just going to be too convenient. Methinks best if we continue to include the short hike to the original store as part of the whole empty calorie experience. Mind you, it would take more of a route march than that too offset the impact of even one brownie.

Which of course is why our post actually links back to the ITR restaurant listings for both Ah Cacao and Antica. Guess it's hard to see those little details at...almost 3:00 am.

This is how we felt after HC Monterrey moved so close - at least before we had to walk at least a mile each way to earn that big steak. Now the walk barely burns off the avocado. Guess that´s the price of progress.

Hey, I had 2 bar re-openings to attend yesterday.

Great write-up on Ah Cacao. I didn't know that chocolate was so important to the Mayans / Mexicans.

And it was your duty to attend them both. Good job.
