Thanks for the pic, redhairgirl! Looks yummy. We had several failed attempts to get to Fusion for a burger this weekend. Will have to have lunch there sometime this week!

I love a good burger-dont care if its black angus or not. The burgers that Ron is serving at the Beer Bucket-is the best I ever had here and I have eaten plenty. I think he starts serving around 5 during the week-earlier on the weekends. Its a half pound burger and even toasts the bum for only $7-which includes all the fixins and chips. Try and them just once and you will go back for more!

Are we officially adding this to the list?

Default Updates on our quest for the best burger...

Updates on our quest for the best burger...

We tried to get a Cap'n Ron burger at the Beer Bucket, but we got there after the grill was closed down for the evening - grill is generally open til 9pm. We'll have to give it another go. We did recently hear a complaint or two about the price, 70 pesos for a burger. Other places offer a burger, fries, and sometimes a salad for 80 pesos, which seems like a much better deal. Who knows... maybe the quality of the burger is justification for the price.

We did make it to Fusion on Friday to try the burger that everyone is raving about. The hamburger was good, but we had to put salsa and pepper on it to give it some kick. The fries were a bit overcooked.

Here's a photo:

One thing I noticed is the burger has lost it's home-made look, compared to the one in redhairgirl1's photo. This one looks more processed. Just my opinion.

I will probably try another burger here some other day, but at the moment, Kitxen still has my vote for best burger.

That has got to be the smallest portion of fries i have ever seen a burger served with! I am probobly just too used to the massive portion size here in the states....thats probobly the amount of fries i SHOULD eat.

Yes, that's actually one thing I like about food here in Mexico - smaller portion sizes. I'd rather pay more for good food than for a gut-busting amount of mediocre food.

Ever eat fajitas at a restaurant in the States? Really now, does it need to be $16 and enough food to feed a small village? Can't I get a half side order for $8-9? Geez!
