4th of July party!

Here is the latest on the 4th of July party at Bad Boys. Cowboy John (best meat cook in Playa) will cook up a couple of whole pigs. For anyone who brings a side dish, there is no charge. All others....$10 per person for all you can eat. Food will begin serving at 1:00 and continue for as long as it lasts. ALL LOCAL or TOURIST MUSICIANS are asked to come and participate! Grady will be in town and he will be recording a live CD with The Nasty Bastards and guest musicians beginning at 4:00 till 8:00. If we get enough guest musicians/bands who want to play their own music, we can start the music as early as 1:00....I'll have the sound system set up and ready to go.

Darn!! If the air prices weren't sooo ridiculously high from here right now, I would so be there for the 4th of July!! It sounds like it's going to be the party of the year. Have a few cervesas and some pig for me.

Hey. Looking forward to seein ya all for the 4th. Dave told me that Brad and his band will be playing 1-4. And in addition to the pig, there should be burgers, dogs, baked beans. Gonna be lots of fun. We will do our best to take good care of you. And if we dont let us know!

Generally not a big holiday for us (we do ours on the 1st up here! ) but we'd be more than happy to help you all celebrate! Count us in.

EDIT: BTW, I told Jorden about the "tourist musicians" part, since he's bringing his sweet axe down with him I thought he'd love the opportunity to play. Boy was I wrong! Unfortunately, I guess he's just reached a milestone in his pre-teenagedom where he has become very self-conscious and so is suddenly not so willing to play in front of strangers anymore. tis' a shame, I thought it would have been a fun experience for him.

I was the there on Saturday ( I know no shock ) JJ said 1pm. It's gonna be a hoot for sure . Everyone remember to bring a dish or the fee is $10.

Yes, it's official. Music will begin at 1:00 with Brad and one or two of his bands. Grady recording should begin around 4:00 till 8:00.

New update!!! The Peanut Pet Shelter is selling raffle tickets online to raise more money. The drawings will be held at Bad Boys during the 4th of July celebration. Andy!!!!!!!! You may want to jump in and give us a few details.

Yes its that time again, thanks to JJ's fantastic offer of making the 4th July festivities into a fundraiser for our shelter we are going to hold another of (thanks to you all) the successful raffles, we will very shortly be selling tickets both online and locally and some of the prizes already donated include boat trips,,qaud rides and a hotel stay... more prizes and ifo will be up soon
