Parking lot close to Maya Bric

We're planning on driving to Playa tomorrow (6/18/08) and staying at the Maya Bric. It's a major hassle to park there in their little parking lot, so we would like to find a secure parking lot where we can leave our van that's not too far from the hotel. Something with daily rates, close to 5th, and as close as possible to the hotel. Anyone have suggestions and/or rate information? Thanks!

I can't vouch for security, but there is a pay lot on 15th Avenue and Calle 6. The area generally has security guys walking around. As I've never used it, I can't offer help on the price, although I did take a photo of their prices sometime within the last year... I'll quickly dig through photos and see if I can find it.

I hear ya on the parking at the Bric. It's such a pain to get in and out. Half the time we had to get somebody at the hotel to come talk to the guys at the barricade to get in. Then there is a crazy tourist that will sneak up on you and bang on your car....Mikey

what about Plaza Pelicanos at 10 ave and calle 10. I know they expanded their parking with an upper level. I don't know about security or prices.
