What about posting something on the "Locals talk" forum in addition to this one?.. Some locals may not read all the forums on this site. Perhaps it would reach a more "local" audience...

Hope you hear something soon-reaching for help on this forum was a good idea

No, I'm really glad to hear you've seen him lately and he's doing fine.

It is a good community, that way. We all have family, somewhere, who might worry about us. I am 47 and my mom would kick my ass if I didn't check in, every week or so. It was good of you to get on here, and ask.

Good to know he's ok.
This local forum (and the other one) has saved my sanity sometimes when I used to think too much about my kid being over there. I would troll thru, especially the pictures of the gatherings to see if I could catch a peek of my kid in the background. News of happenings within the community helped also. The forum is a good thing.....
