 WELCOME BACK HOME LEASA!Thank you for a wonderful trip report! It was such a pleasure to be able to catch up with you while you out and about in Q.Roo. You have a beautiful family, Leasa. I wish that I was able to quote some favorite photos to let you know which ones are my favorite but then there would be to many of them to mention. What a special talent that you have. It's nice to come back home though, eh? I bet your little pooch was so excited to see you all. So, did you find that being away for a month was too long or just right? We always do 2 weeks and keep saying that next time we will try 3. I can't believe your electricity bill!  Glad that you were able to get away after the difficult year that you all went through, you deserved it, Leasa. I'm also happy for you that you got to spend some time with some of your dear friends. Hope that you got some nice hugs & cuddles too Oh...and by the way, you look hot!

Playalove: Thanks, we were happy to JUST clear the connection...it was pretty late at night to have to wait for another flight.
 Kim: thanks, our town is very photogenic also, and easy to come home to! Escaping: We are heading up to Whistler for a couple of days next week (I'll blog it! ) and then hockey/football/dance camps/intensives start before the season, so no more travelling until Christmas. We are contemplating another 3 week Florida and Cruise trip for Christmas, and we have a one week Cuba trip at Spring Break with Kelsey's dance company, where they'll be attending a dance school in Havana and then dancing in the show each night at an all-inclusive in Veradero! Dijo: yes, the tide thing is a huge difference! We also commented on it. Anyone know why there IS no tide in the Caribbean??? Louise: Thanks for the compliments! Yes, Moses was very excited to see us, and us to see him! I wish I had gotten photos of THAT reunion. As for going for a month, I would say that perhaps a month was just a wee bit long for us. It's hard to say now, because within a week of being away from those turquoise waters and white sands ya' just wanna' be back, you know? But by the last week there, we were all missing some aspects of home, some creature comforts if you will. Big screen TV, comfy car, king size comfy bed, using water from the tap, and food without the taste of Mexico in it.  So to answer, we probably wouldn't do a month again, but we'd certainly do 3 weeks. Quote:
