Default Lobster

Is there anywhere in Playa that serves Lobster at "reasonable" prices?? Kinda like you can get a steak at the H&C or at Chicago Don Jose's but there is about a $35 price difference...ok ok I know that CDJ's is better but....

La Pesca (map) on 30th. Great fish tacos. Hold the mayo!
Playa Maya (map) on the beach. Libby loves their Coconut Shrimp.

I agree with John, La Pesca (very reasonable) & the Playa Maya coconut shrimp is utterly amazing!!!! A tad pricey for lunch (they do not serve dinner) but oooooh soooo worth it. Babs is right, the lobster is not like the cold water lobster you get in the US/Canada, it is tasty but not like the cold water ones. Shrimp is definitely amazing though, I've had it a number of places, most cook it quite well, the odd place it's a tad overdone.

Love La Pesca ,but I also loved the grilled seafood dinner for two at Las Brisas on 4th street at the corner of 10th Avenue.

Fish filet, shrimp and octopus, all so tender! Served with baked garlic in butter, rice and mixed vegs! Cost was 180 pesos for two. Beer about 15 pesos and Don Julio 45 pesos.

Sol and I had dinner there one night in August and liked it so well we brought the rest of the Wimmins back another night that week.

occasionally there is a steak and lobster special at Richard's in Puerto Aventuras for 120 pesos - it ain't gourmet...
...but it's tasty - and cheap

Mexican lobster has never melted by butter. Tried it once....that was enough.

It is hard to get good lobster isn't it? I have better luck with crab.
