I'm a huge fan of El Jurado for their huaraches
The huarache con tinga (spicy shredded chicken) is great and under $5.

No doubt there is excellent food in Playa...but it's better when you're there with the folks you love and are having an amazing amount of fun!

Ummmmm......yes. And Red wanted to throw up the vege-meat I brought.

I like the idea of cooking one night....just hope it's one of the nights I'm there, I'll be more than happy to help.

My typical meals are cheap during the day...either Java Joes, Hot, or Cafe Tropical for breakfast (usually around $5 for whatever I order), Pizza Pazza, Dr. Taco, or Carboncitos for lunch (cheap!), and dinner is usually more of a splurge. Eating cheaply there can be done!

Now now....just because it wasn't soaked in blood doesn't mean it's THAT bad

I really am into the cooking thing one night, I think that'd be fun!

Are we going with Mikey's kitchen or Gingele's? I'm not talking burgers either.....are you thinking Mexican food? That's my vote......or Italian. Both inexpensive and pretty easy.

It's possible we're in the minority here and it just might be you, me, and Mikey having a Hell's Kitchen cook-off.

We'll need a designated Chef Ramsey in each kitchen screaming at us to make us perform at our best!

We're going to be in Prague for my husbands 40th on the 27th, and I actually looked into making reservations at his restaurant there. Until I looked at the menu. Damn.....I couldn't recognize most of the items on there, and some of the food pairings seemed a bit........interesting. Needless to say I ixnayed that idea real fast!

Well Erica is appointed to Mikey as Chef Ramsey, so we can alway's have Mel do it! She's great at calling me a dumbass and all sort's of things that i can take, so there is that!

As far as the Prague resturant, i completley understand! We were there for a week, and trusted just one restaurant whe
