I use www.Kayak.com a lot to search, but you should also try www.smartertravel.com, I saw some tickets on there that might fit your price range. I would suggest that it might be cheaper if you traveled on a Monday or Tuesday instead of a Sunday.

Check worryfreevactions (they have a price basically at your budget) or suncountry.

Good luck. Don't settle, I have flown out of there for 300 or less.

Thanks for the suggestions! I just discovered Kayak last night for the first time and will check out smartertravel today. We normally book our seats through Worryfree also and have gotten tickets as low as $129 round trip per person through them. 2 years ago we got airfare throught them for $249 a piece. They dont have anything for the dates we are going out just yet and since we leave on a friday they possible they wont.

As far as traveling on a Monday or Tuesday...well we cant because we'd have to take more time off from work then and thats not an option for my wife. Thanks again for the good suggestions though.

Not to rub it in, but I can get tickets pretty much year round for $375 for 2 taxes included.

Worry free travel

The charters they use only fly from a few cities but Dallas is one of them...the tickets are $89 but with taxes it pushes it to $188 each.....they fly 3 or 4 days a week.

Just the luck of the draw for me

Ya we have a connecting flight through Houston. I think that the Texas area gets some pretty good prices...so does Chicago from what I have seen.

Yep...I'm living in the wrong area! I had good luck last year flying on Spirit out of DC...was $88 each way plus tax so hubby & I flew for less than $600 round trip.

I think I'm going to do that today....I jotted down the other websites that bufante mentioned also. Guess I know what I'm doing today at work.

And, glad you got things all worked out for your trip.
