Default Mexican Made Christmas Ornaments in Playa?

Has anyone ever seen nice Mexican style, possibly handmade, ornaments in Playa? I've only ever seen cheap looking made in China ornaments. I'd love to bring some nice ones to Chicago as gifts.

And if you have any other ideas for non-cheesy Mexican souvenir type gifts, I'm open! My first Christmas here, I got everyone Talavera. The next Christmas, I got gift baskets of Mexican foods (cocoa, honey, mole sauce, jalepeno popcorn, etc.) This year, well I'm just starting to think about what to get, and we leave for Chicago tomorrow. Yikes!!

Try Los Milagros on 5th. I cannot remember the Calles, but it's close to the Bus Station. They have some beautiful ornaments....

Thanks, Vanessa! I hardly ever make it that far south these days. I'll check it out today and report on my findings.

Well, I went to Los Milagros which means Miracles btw. This is a great place to go to if you like Day of the Dead stuff or religious items like silver crosses or nativity scenes. I enjoyed browsing the store. They don't carry the typical souvenir trinkets, and their stuff is actually made in Mexico!

Unfortunately, they only had one style of ornament, an angel which frankly kind of gave me the creeps. So, still no ornaments. I checked the ornaments at Walmart and every single one was Hecho en China.
