Default Renting Bicycles in Playa

The wife and I will be down in Playa in Sept. and would love to figure out how to rent a couple of bikes for the week. Any thoughts?? My wife is a member of this forum but, her new job frowns upon her cruising Playa blog sites otherwise I'm sure she would be asking!

My favorite bicycle shop, "Luisito's" on Avenida 30 and calle 28 rents bikes. I think there is also a bike rental on calle 8 near Avenida 10, near Plaza Pelicanos. I don't know the rates, sorry.

There is (or at least was) a bike rental store called Isla Bicycleta on Calle 8 just east of 10th Avenue. Their website is down, but hopefully that is just a temporary issue and they are still in business!

For now, you can get more information about Isla Bicycleta here, although the info is a bit outdated.

Last time we were at Luna Blue (January) there was a pair of really NICE looking rentals there that guests were using. The shop was nearby as I recall and more than likely came from Michele's place she referenced.

Nice to know there's at least a couple at either end of 5th Ave. from which to choose.
