Buffett & Burgers Back at the Blue

After a couple of weeks off, Jimmy Buffett is back on his concert tour. That means we'll be firing up the grill at the Luna Blue Bar for some "Cheeseburgers in Playadise." The first concert is this coming Sunday, August 24, at 8:00 pm, but we'll be serving up the burgers starting at 7:00 pm. This will also be a chance to meet our new bartender, Jorge. Jorge has been a bartender in Playa for the last 15 years. He makes a great mojito and is getting ready to serve up the 2 for 1 margaritas while Jimmy sings live on Sunday.

Nice folks, fantastic burgers and great mojito's and music just hours away - damn airfare!!! Thanks for the update guys, hope to see you before too long...

I had JB on a few night ago on Sirius, he was playing concert in New York at the Garden. It was old though, from June. I think I got drunk that night though.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of chances to buy a burger and support the Pet Shelter. There are ten more Jimmy Buffet concerts scheduled through August, Sept and October...ten more chances for a cheeseburger at the Blue...ten more chances to help the pet shelter (Half the price of the burger goes to the pet shelter).

And when Jimmy's concert tour is over...we are going to continue to having Buffett and Cheeseburgers at the Blue EVERY Sunday through the rest of the year!

But Rita...if you can't be here for the concerts, or on a Sunday afternoon later this year...just drop by, stand at the front gate and give a yell. I'll make sure you get a burger!

And a good burger wouldn't go amiss, either.

Sorry, Papa T, but I was nursing a cold and have had a lot of crap to deal with lately: not exactly the best of company, no matter how hard I would have tried so - I also woke up late

- I decided it would be best not to spoil the ambiance.

Don't worry about it. I figured that's what happened. No problem. Your company was missed, but your share of the "Booty" was divided amongst the rest of the crew.
